Singing to myself

Confession,song stuck in my head on my mind,Chairlift's song. I'm sitting quietly in the corner,stuck in a traffic jam, waiting at the traffic light, waiting for the lift, in the lift, while doing work, while walking, while showering. Cant sleep, and guess what song is on my mind? none other than chairlift's!

Twenty twelve went well. Alhamdulilah. Finished and done with LLB, graduated with a full law degree. Accomplishment I most certainly am so very happy about. 

2013, Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. So many plans,hopes and dreams. One too many to write. Some are to be kept secret or only between those who knows and only to be revealed when the time comes. 

Right feet forward keep walking forward : )

Keepin' myself busy

All this free time and not doing anything productive is starting to take it's toll on me. AAAaaa! It's driving me nuts sitting round at home not doing much. Unless eating,eating,eating,eating  and more eating is considered as an activity. Anyhow in my attempt to keep myself busy is by helping out with Abg Man's wedding. Not that there is much to do,except for attending several meetings for the wedding reception and next is helping out with the door gifts, and rehearsal. Abg Man our eldest cousin is a married man!!! ohh we've been looking forward and rooting for it, everyone is happy including me! My best wishes to both Abg Man and kak shima  for a lifetime of joy and happiness, Amin.

My other attempt of me amusing myself is by giving a try of making my first ever cake batik. And from the outcome of it, there is a big possibility of it being my last time of  making it. How oh how could it get it wrong. A simple no bake cake, just mix all the ingredients and pop it in the fridge. Yet the finish product is all gooey not presentable cake. I was so upset, went on and on about it. Mama said it tastes nice, it doesn't look nice but the taste is nice. Very weird I have baked cookies,cakes,brownies,muffins and a simple no fuss cake batik and it comes out all gooey and yucky looking. Ssshhhessshh.

On a different note, boo boo and I recently celebrated our 4 years anniversary. Alhamdulilah am soo very thankful for apart from my family,boo boo the amazing loving wonderful person in my life. Wont be blogging about it now, as we are not done with the 4 year anniversary celebration/activities. I've got a couple more things under my sleeve that I have planned ; ) to surprise boo boo, it'l be fun with all this free time I have.

"Knocked out"

Look at this hahahah *snickering mischievous laugh* he absolutely has no idea that I took a picture of him asleep in the living room. Pity my boo boo,after buka puasa,terawih,watching a comedy movie with my parents, I can see he's starting to get sleepy. And even that it's still only 10 something and our movie is at 12.30 midnight. 

Pity pity him,so after getting the green light from my mom  telling him he should take a nap first while waiting to go for our midnight movie and also my brother saying he should take a nap first. This is what it looks like haahahaha, my boo boo politely asleep. It took some time for me to wake him up to go for our movie, he is fast asleep despite my family and me having our moreh chit chatting and laughing.Must be really tired or he's just a sleepyhead! Once I manged to wake him up and off to the movies we go and guess what, surprise surprise halfway watching Batman I started to feel sleepy. And him, all fresh and excited no sign of  him feeling sleepy at all. Boys and men and action movie sighhh.

So sweet of him tho deciding to watch Batman with me instead of going out on boys night out. I was surprised too myself. Now I know why, come to think of it every movie we have watched together is either chick flicks, romantic comedy, comedy and animation. LOL. Explains it now why he would want to watch this action movie with me. But the downside  for him is at the end of the movie and he talks about Batman and how awesome it is in yadda yadda and what did I do? stare blankly at the floor, in the car stare blankly at the dashboard and then when he realises it. He looks at me and all I can say is I'm sorry I'm sleeeeeepy. Hahahaah haishh kesian boo boo next time action movie we should watch during daytime. Then we can go on and on talk about the movie ; D

First attempt at making home made beef patties

When mama said she's making beef patties, I of course jumped in excitement to help. Literally. Came back from terawih took off my telekung didn't even fold it, just left it on the sofa straight to the kitchen.Say food, cooking,baking to me and im in! Surprisingly it took less than an hour to make the beef patties. No wonder Jamie oliver's show about how making your own "fast food" is not only healthier its true, it does not take as long as most of us would have thought.I didn't time myself but If im not mistaken it took me about 45 minutes to make the beef patties. ( excluding cooking time).And of course gotta have it with gherkins. How can you not have burger with gherkin. It completes it!

Awesome now that I've discovered making my own burgers and that its  fast easy and simple,next  im considering  making my own nuggets. Fish nuggets, beef nugget,chicken nuggets. *Ooouuhhhh.*

How to lose weight at this rate?

Memang la gemok if bila terlepas to a supermarket kejap with boo boo on the pretense to buy ONLY sushi   JE at discounted price konon. Yeah right. Of course when I get there I start looking around. Less then half an hour later and I cant decide on which candy or chocolate I want. Boo boo lagi pulak melayan "ambik je just take which ever one you want." "Tak nak lagi chocolates? thats all?" me apa lagi menjadi-jadi la ambik macam macam. When Im stressed out I binged. And when im studying my companion is candies and chocolates!! Apa lagi boo boo melayan jgk dh tau im stressed up and if  candies and chocolates helps deal with it. Then candies and chocolates it is! Best part when I asked him do u think this is enough? I dont think its enough. Melayan lagi jgk said "takpe takpe later when its almost finish we buy some more". Pity my boo boo his gf getting rounder and rounder and puffed. Sighhh..Oh well. Will lose back the weight I gained. Later when I have the time. For now study and candies and chocolates.

Selfishness and difficulties and pressure

I really don't get it and I definitely do not understand why there are people who are so selfish  when it comes to sharing their knowledge or means of them obtaining their knowledge. What is so wrong with sharing knowledge and helping one another especially when seeing another person is in need of it. Even worst sadly this people call themselves Muslim. Yet among Muslim brothers and sisters they are selfish and are not open to sharing knowledge. Its not like people are expecting for something that is so exorbitant or unreasonable. Just to share knowledge. Even about that have to be selfish about it?Why? to proof a point to be competitive and show to others they are the best.Ya Allah its very hurtful and frustrating.

I shall not name any names but it really saddens me when they are certain people who are so selfish that they can watch their own classmates struggle or knowing they are having difficulties and yet do not offer to help. Even worst though knowing they have knowledge they choose  not share it and keep it all to themselves and act secretly about the resources of their knowledge.

Im writing about this when I came to know that my firm and some other firms have been warned by the lecturer  that we are in deep water for that particular subject. Its either some firms are having the tendency to fail or are on the borderline of failing. It saddens me. And to see that selfish people just walk around proudly although knowing and seeing other firms are struggling. Yet no offer has been made to help and even when we ask for help make it so difficult for us to get their help. People like this in wanting to be selfish wont go far. Because who are they to be selfish with their knowledge knowing that knowledge comes from Allah. They choose to hold back their knowledge and not share it with others, wait and see in return when it happens to them.Allah is  fair. I am very very very stressed out and saddened by this, hence why im writing about this.

However like I said Allah is Fair and I believe in Allah's help. Its written in the Quran.

            Surah Al Baqarah 2:286

On no soul doth Allah Place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns, and it suffers every ill that it earns. (Pray:) "Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden Like that which Thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! Lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins, and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector; Help us against those who stand against faith." Allah tidak memberati seseorang melainkan apa yang terdaya olehnya. Ia mendapat pahala kebaikan yang diusahakannya, dan ia juga menanggung dosa kejahatan yang diusahakannya. (Mereka berdoa dengan berkata): "Wahai Tuhan kami! Janganlah Engkau mengirakan kami salah jika kami lupa atau kami tersalah. Wahai Tuhan kami ! Janganlah Engkau bebankan kepada kami bebanan yang berat sebagaimana yang telah Engkau bebankan kepada orang-orang yang terdahulu daripada kami. Wahai Tuhan kami! Janganlah Engkau pikulkan kepada kami apa yang kami tidak terdaya memikulnya. Dan maafkanlah kesalahan kami, serta ampunkanlah dosa kami, dan berilah rahmat kepada kami. Engkaulah Penolong kami; oleh itu, tolonglah kami untuk mencapai kemenangan terhadap kaum-kaum yang kafir".  Surah Al Baqarah 2:216Fighting has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you. But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not.  Kamu diwajibkan berperang (untuk menentang pencerobohan) sedang peperangan itu ialah perkara yang kamu benci; dan boleh jadi kamu benci kepada sesuatu padahal ia baik bagi kamu, dan boleh jadi kamu suka kepada sesuatu padahal ia buruk bagi kamu. Dan (ingatlah), Allah jualah Yang mengetahui (semuanya itu), sedang kamu tidak mengetahuinya.  Surah Al Talaq 65:2 ... And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out ... dan sesiapa yang bertaqwa kepada Allah (dengan mengerjakan suruhanNya dan meninggalkan laranganNya), nescaya Allah akan mengadakan baginya jalan keluar (dari segala perkara yang menyusahkannya) Surah Al Talaq 65:3 And will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a [decreed] extent. Serta memberinya rezeki dari jalan yang tidak terlintas di hatinya. Dan (Ingatlah), sesiapa berserah diri bulat-bulat kepada Allah, maka Allah cukuplah baginya (untuk menolong dan menyelamatkannya). Sesungguhnya Allah tetap melakukan segala perkara yang dikehendakiNya. Allah telahpun menentukan kadar dan masa bagi berlakunya tiap-tiap sesuatu.  Surah Hud 11:52 And O my people! Ask forgiveness of your Lord, and turn to Him (in repentance): He will send you the skies pouring abundant rain, and add strength to your strength: so turn ye not back in sin! Dan wahai kaumku! Mintalah ampun kepada Tuhan kamu, kemudian kembalilah taat kepadaNya, supaya Ia menghantarkan kepada kamu hujan lebat serta menambahkan kamu kekuatan di samping kekuatan kamu yang sedia ada; dan janganlah kamu membelakangkan seruanku dengan terus melakukan dosa!  Surah Yusuh 12:87 O my sons! go ye and enquire about Joseph and his brother, and never give up hope of Allah.s Soothing Mercy: truly no one despairs of Allah.s Soothing Mercy, except those who have no faith."  Wahai anak-anakku! Pergilah dan intiplah khabar berita mengenai Yusuf dan saudaranya (Bunyamin), dan janganlah kamu berputus asa dari rahmat serta pertolongan Allah. Sesungguhnya tidak berputus asa dari rahmat dan pertolongan Allah itu melainkan kaum yang kafir".  Surah Al Anfaal 8:29 O ye who believe! if ye fear Allah, He will grant you a criterion (to judge between right and wrong), remove from you (all) evil (that may afflict) you, and forgive you: for Allah is the Lord of grace unbounded.  Wahai orang-orang yang beriman! Jika kamu bertaqwa kepada Allah, nescaya Ia mengadakan bagi kamu (petunjuk) yang membezakan antara yang benar dengan yang salah, dan menghapuskan kesalahan-kesalahan kamu, serta mengampunkan (dosa-dosa) kamu. Dan Allah (sememangnya) mempunyai limpah kurnia yang besar. Surah Al Insyirah 94:5 So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief Oleh itu, maka (tetapkanlah kepercayaanmu) bahawa sesungguhnya tiap-tiap kesukaran disertai kemudahan  Surah Al Insyirah 94:6 Verily, with every difficulty there is relief (Sekali lagi ditegaskan): bahawa sesungguhnya tiap-tiap kesukaran disertai kemudahan.  Surah Al Insyirah 94:8 And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention Dan kepada Tuhanmu sahaja hendaklah engkau memohon (apa yang engkau gemar dan ingini).

All the surah surah mention above is not me simply with no guidance choosing it by myself. Its from the classes Agama that I've attended and Agama books I read.That being said, so be it to selfish people. Let Allah deal with them as for me I'll be praying, du'aa  to Allah for everything help, patience peace of mind. And for me to pass LLB with good grades Insya'Allah. Amin.
